To be free, to be redeemed, means that whatever I want to do is what I am longing to do.

There are some people that you are so close to that whenever you see them, you are in the middle of a sentence. You just continue on from the last time you talked. They are the people that bring you back. You are different when you are with them, and you never forget them. They bring you back. You can’t wait to be with them again. This is what Yerushalayim is all about.

What happened to Adam and Eve? Their first mistake is that they ran away… away from G-d, from Paradise, and they began hiding. Instead of running away run to… run to the One, to the Only One.

Yerushalayim, the Holy City, the City of G-d is the place where even if you choose wrong — G-d still loves you. Who is the king of Yerushalayim? King David. He made some mistakes. Big ones — but he’s still the king. Eventually, the world will realize that even with all our bad choices, we’re still okay with G-d. Some day, the Holy Temple will be a house of prayer for the whole world. It’ll be a house, a real house. Yerushalayim, the Holy City, the City of G-d is the place where even if you chose wrong — it’ll be okay. It already is.
